During my recent stay at Travelodge, I found the establishment to be a mixed bag of pros and cons. The affordable rates were certainly appealing, making it a budget-friendly option for travelers looking to save some pennies. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, providing a decent night's rest after a long day of exploring. However, the outdated amenities and lack of attention to detail were noticeable. The non-smoking room I booked had a lingering smell of old cigarette smoke, which was quite off-putting. The overall upkeep of the property left something to be desired, as the tall grass in the lawn and lack of fresh towels indicated a lack of thorough housekeeping. On the positive side, I appreciated the friendly owner and the ongoing upgrades to the property. The free Wi-Fi was a nice addition, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. However, the overall lack of attention to detail and maintenance issues detracted from the value proposition of this hotel. While the rates were affordable, I believe there are better options in the area that offer a more balanced mix of cost and luxury.
